Several prophets in Ghana tagged as ‘doomsday prophets’ also contributed their ‘quota’ in ushering the new year with several prophecies during various watch night services held on Monday 31st December, 2018.

Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, the leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, gave his share of prophecies. The prophet gave various prophecies which according to him, would manifest not only in Ghana but around the world in 2019, if nothing is done to avert them.

During the watchnight service in his church, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah made about eighteen revelations, which according to him are divided into two – the 5th realm and 7th realm prophecies – preluding by emphatically stating that 2019 will sweep off “prominent and mighty men in Ghana and some neighbouring countries.”

One of the prophecies that has caused a public stir is when He mentioned that a national Islamic funeral beckons for which the Vice President to the sitting President would be buried and admonished Muslims to pray for the National Chief Imam as well. “I admonish Muslims to pray for their Chief Imam.

This particular prophecy has been received with a lot of mixed feelings amongst the general public and even attracted some Muslim youth attacking his church.

Rev Owusu Bempah refused after been tasked by some unhappy muslim youth to retract and apologize to Chief Imam Nuhu Sharabutu. Armed with machetes, the group stormed his on Wednesday and even streamed the attack live on Facebook, damaging property and razing to ground a billboard with Rev Owusu-Bempah’s image.

Chief Imam Nuhu Sharabutu condemned the attack. He appealed for calm, saying those incited by the prophecy should forgive Rev Owusu Bempah for his predictions.

In his reaction to the attack, the Glorious Word and Power Ministry leader said: “Christians, let’s be strong and pray for the church.”

According to the prophet, the 7th realm prophecies are bound to happen regardless of what Ghanaians would do or say.
